The book of ACTS tells so many stories; the baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, the casting out of demons and other extraordinary adventures. But more importantly is continues God’s story. One, that began in the Old Testament with the sacrifice of animals for the forgiveness of sin, Acts is the second of a two part series that begins in the gospel of Luke. It follows the life of and ministry of Jesus Christ, who died for the sin of all humanity. A perfect sacrifice. The same Jesus that fulfilled the law and provided redemption for all mankind, tells us of the gift of His Holy Spirit. When God sends His spirit to the earth, one could liken it to heaven crashing into earth. “The Church” is most defiantly the result. A Church that has been, and continues to spread around the world. And all of this is for the glory of God. To God be the glory.
