Residents will have the chance to learn about updates and a schedule for the Colorado Highway 119 Boulder Canyon Improvements Project during an upcoming open house, according to a Colorado Department of Transportation news release.

The meeting will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at Flatirons Elementary School, 1150 Seventh St. Boulder. The formal presentation, which is expected to take half an hour, will begin at 7 p.m. Speakers will include CDOT Executive Director Shoshana Lew, Colorado Department of Transportation Region 4 Director Heather Paddock, and State Sen. Stephen Fenberg.

In addition to updates on progress and a schedule, the open house will cover solutions to the geotechnical challenges. Members of the team will be available to answer questions.
