A crash in San Bernardino on Wednesday morning left one man dead, a woman injured and a 1-year-old girl with a broken leg.
The crash happened just after 7:45 a.m. when a Ford Edge, which was being driven by a 27-year-old woman north on E Street, lost control while transitioning onto the Kendall Drive curve and crossed into approaching traffic on the other side of the road, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.
Police said the Ford crashed into a Honda Accord. The driver of the Honda, Jacob Green, 21, of San Bernardino, was transported to Loma Linda Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead just after 9 a.m.
The driver of the Ford received minor injuries in the crash, and her 1-year-old daughter’s leg was broken in the crash, authorities said.
San Bernardino police said speed and rainy weather appear to be a factor in the crash.
