Grow with Google is bringing free digital skills workshops and one-on-one coaching to select libraries in Colorado to provide opportunities to grow careers and businesses

Colorado Governor Jared Polis will address participants at the Grow with Google event at Boulder Public Library at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 21, along with representatives from Google and Boulder Public Library.

The event will be held on the second floor of the Main Library at 1001 Arapahoe Ave., and will feature free workshops for job seekers, business owners, nonprofits, researchers and information professionals throughout the day. Members of the media are advised to arrive by 9:10 a.m., for the governor’s talk.

Registration for most of the Grow with Google workshops at Boulder Public Library is full, but there will be a few spots available for walk-in participants. Participants can also seek one-on-one help with Google experts at walk-in sessions. As of this time, there are still spots available in the first workshop of the day: 

  • Discover Digital Resources to Empower Your Community, 9:30 a.m.  

Learn about the Grow with Google Partner Program and discover free resources and curriculum that your organization can use to teach people in your community the digital skills that will grow their careers and businesses. This session is for nonprofits, researchers, and library and education professionals.
