Paramedics airlifted one person after a fire broke out at a Big Bear Lake storage facility on Saturday, authorities said.

The fire started in a motor home parked at the facility in the 41800 block of Fox Farm Road, said Big Bear Fire Department spokeswoman Dawn Marschinke.

The fire quickly spread to a second motor home, a boat, a travel trailer, and a storage trailer, all of which were damaged or destroyed.

Fire crews got a call about the fire at 11:47 a.m. and had extinguished the fire within about 20 minutes, Marschinke said.

One person, who was inside the first motor home, suffered injuries in the fire. Though authorities did not release the person’s condition, the victim required airlift to a hospital down the mountain. The second motor home was uninhabited during the fire, Marschinke said.

No structures were damaged and no further injuries were reported.

Fire investigators were working to determine the cause of the blaze.
