OSMP reminds visitors to exercise caution in the area and remain on trail while visiting this popular Boulder location

The City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Department has reopened Boulder Falls west of the city following the completion of several repairs to the trail.

Repairs included the building of additional stairs, installation of rails along the Boulder Falls Trail and fence construction along the highway. OSMP reminds visitors to exercise caution in the area and remain on trail while visiting this popular Boulder location.

The department also encourages visitors to regularly check the Colorado Department of Transportation’s website to plan any visits to OSMP locations accessible from Boulder Canyon, including Boulder Falls and Chapman Drive, because of ongoing road construction in Boulder Canyon. For more information on OSMP trails, please visit the department’s interactive trails map at OSMPTrails.org.
