World Series of Poker bracelet leader Phil Hellmuth put together a familiar lineup for ’Hellmuth’s Homegame,’ the latest cash game series on Poker After Dark. The “Poker Brat” invited fellow poker pro Maria Ho, along with a number of Silicon Valley heavyweights, including venture capitalists Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks, and Rick Thompson.
The sixth player in the $100-$200 blind no-limit hold’em cash game was none other than three-time NBA Champion Draymond Green. The power forward for the Golden State Warriors is no stranger to playing with Hellmuth, who claimed in 2018 to be helping Green with his poker game.
The three-time all-star did not shy away from getting involved over the course of the nearly three hours that he played. Early on in the session, he attempted to run a multi-street bluff against Ho. Green had straddled to $400 under the gun and picked up the 8

Draymond fired out $1,300 into the pot of $1,900 on a stone-cold bluff, and Ho made the call with her bottom pair to grow the pot to $4,500. The 4 on the turn saw both players check. The A hit the river and Green gathered his remaining chip stack and pushed it into the middle with just eight high. Despite holding just a pair of deuces, Ho thought it over and ultimately made the call for $4,500, taking down the pot of $13,500.
After a rebuy, Green later found himself in a better situation. Green picked up pocket queens facing plenty of action preflop and got involved in a pot worth $23,700. PokerGO tweeted out a video clip of the hand, which you can check out below:
