World Poker Tour bestbet Bounty Scramble Kicks Off Today

The World Poker Tour is making its way back to Jacksonville, Florida for the 2019 running of the WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble. The $5,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em event is set to run from Oct. 11-15 and will feature a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. The event features a unique format that puts a $2,500 bounty on a list of 30 players, including the likes of all-time WPT title leader Darren Elias, a three-time champion on the tour Anthony Zinno, and former WPT commentator and Poker Hall of Famer Mike Sexton. 2018 WPT bestbet Jacksonville Champion Tony TranThis fun and unique tournament will take place in bestbet Jacksonville’s expansive poker room, which hosts 88 tables to make in the largest in the state of Florida. This event has been won by a number of tournament poker stars over the years, including Noah Schwartz, Sam Panzica, Tyler Patterson and Jared Jaffee. In 2018 Tony Tran topped a field of 356 total entries to win $341,486 after being down to just two big blinds with 30 players remaining.

There are two starting flights available, each beginning at noon on Oct. 11 and Oct. 12. Players will receive 40,000 in chips for their $5,000 buy-in. The tournament utilizes the big-blind ante, with initial blinds of 100-100 for level 1.The first 16 levels will last an hour each, with level 17 and beyond increasing to 90 minutes.

Registration will remain open until the start of level 7 on each of the two starting flights for this event. Unlimited re-entry is allowed during registration, and players may re-enter on day 1B even if they were not eliminated on Day 1A. Were they to advance to day 2 from both days 1A and 1B, the player would take their largest chip stack forward and the other stack would be removed from play.
