WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A person died, and another was wounded in a double shooting in Waterbury.
Officers responded to 100 Mark Lane around 5 a.m. Tuesday to the report of a shots fired incident involving two gunshot victims.
One person was pronounced dead on scene, and the other victim was taken to a hospital, where police said they are in stable condition.
Police are searching for the suspect, who took off before officers arrived. Investigators said this was an isolated incident, and everyone involved knows each other.
The investigation is ongoing.
