AT&T is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the conviction of whoever is responsible for the theft of copper cable from company property in San Bernardino County from November to January.

“While the financial loss is a concern, ensuring uninterrupted and high-quality service for customers is a top priority for AT&T,” spokesman Palmer Roberts said.

The thefts have occurred in San Bernardino and Colton, mostly in commercial areas along railroad tracks and riverbeds.

AT&T said that anyone with information may anonymously call law enforcement or contact AT&T security at 800-807-4205.
