WAVERLY, Ga.- The No. 7 Coastal Georgia’s men’s golf team finished round two of the Coastal Georgia Men’s Fall Invitational in sixth place after shooting 287 in the first round and 290 in the second round at Sanctuary Cove Golf Club.

George Langham again was the highest ranked Mariner, shooting a 70 in the second round to finish the day tied for fifth.

Southeastern took over the lead after Matthew Soucinek and Noah Endicott shot 68 and 69 respectively.

Lee Smith and Pate Stansell improved upon their scores in the second round shooting a 73 and 74, respectively, despite dropping in the rankings.

Thomas Henderson, competing as an individual, scored a 69 which was the lowest score amongst the individuals in the second round.

George Langham: -5, T5

Zayne Hilderbrand: +1, T31

Trey Fesperman: +2, T37

Lee Smith: +3, T43

Pate Stansell: +7, 62

Individuals:

Thomas Henderson: -2, T16

Will Sharpe: -1, T20

 

UP NEXT:

The Mariners will finish the invitational tomorrow with an 8:30 am tee time.
