Effective today, March 26, 2020, Colorado is under a stay-at-home order issued by Gov. Jared Polis. Similar to previous city and county orders that were issued this week, the order allows for critical services employees to continue to work at CU Boulder. The order was updated today to include postsecondary institutions as a critical service.

Supervisors of departments with employees identified as providing critical services received additional information to provide to critical services employees, including documentation critical services employees can keep with them while they travel to and from work. The documentation identifies the employee as a critical services employee that is permitted to work while the order is in effect. Any employee with questions about this should speak with their supervisor.

More information on the governor’s order is published on the state website. The order, currently effective until April 11, 2020, may be changed or extended.
