This isn’t strictly woodworking so if I should be somewhere else just let me know.
I’m trying make the front edges of a pair of speakers I’m working on out of epoxy. My idea was to use plastic sheets to form the curve I wanted and fix that to the wood using some double sided tape. I tested the connection between plastic and wood before and it was plenty strong.
The issue came when I poured the epoxy. After a few minutes the tape began to sort of deteriorate and the epoxy leaked out. My current plan of action is to just try the same thing again but clamp some pieces of wood along the connection but I figured I’d make a post and see what sort of advice I’d get. Any better ideas for this out there?
