Boulder should see more freezing temperatures and snow today and on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Today’s forecast calls for a high of 26 and an overnight low of 13, with less than an inch of additional snow accumulation expected.

National Weather Service spotters reported 5 inches of snow in Boulder Sunday evening, along with 2 inches of snow in Longmont.

The city of Boulder is on accident alert, while local schools are on delayed starts due to the weather.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for a high of 21 and an overnight low of 8, with windchill as low as -1. There is a 90% chance of 3 to 7 inches of snow.

Wednesday’s forecast calls for cloudy skies with a high of 19 and an overnight low of 4, with a 50% chance of snow.

Thursday’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 37 and an overnight low of 17.

Friday’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 37 and an overnight low of 15.
