MIAMI, Fla.- The Sun Conference announced its 2022-23 All-Sun Conference Men’s Basketball Teams on Thursday morning. The players are nominated and voted on by the coaches with 10 players being selected for the first team and second team.
Senior Anthony Duncan and junior Nick Jiles represented Coastal Georgia as they were both selected to the All-Sun Conference Second Team.
Jiles led the team with 14 points and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 38.7 percent from three. Jiles’ 101 assists this season is the fourth most in school history and he had two games this season with nine assists which is tied for the fourth most in a single game in school history.
Duncan was a force in the paint all season long. He finished the year with 10.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting a team-high 53.3 percent from the field. Duncan is now second in school history for career blocks and his field goal percentage this season ranks eighth best in school history.
Both players were instrumental parts of the Coastal Georgia team this season and were some of the best players in the Sun Conference.
