I few years ago I wanted to make something (weird chair) with my hands so I got a plywood in HomeDepot, but an employee stopped me and told me that it has formaldehide and I should not even touch it without gloves, so this turned me away for some time. Then recently I though particle board might be good to experiment with but it turns out it makes a lot of dust which is also bad. I don’t want to just play with expensive eco materials as first few things I make will be probably bad, but I’d also like to be able to work without worrying that it is bad for my health. Do you have a recommendation?
