Longmont Mayor Joan Peck is inviting residents to share their input on housing as part of her quarterly conversational series.

During the community meetup, the discussion will center on issues, challenges and work being done to provide housing. The meetup will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. June 4 at the Fire Station No. 5 Community Room, 617 Barberry Drive, according to a city news release.

Mayor Pro Tem Aren Rodriguez will join in the conversation, which will seek to answer questions about the different strategies used when building affordable versus attainable housing and the role that city government plays in the unpredictable housing market.

The discussion on housing is the second in a series of community conversations hosted by the mayor. The series is aiming to engage with residents to address important local issues. The next meeting in the series will be Sept. 10.
