Noob looking for information on gemstones to protect from Ketu.

I'm unfamiliar with basically all of this, but my reading had led me to believe I need to protect myself from something called Ketu? I hope this makes sense, as, once again, in clueless here. If it helps – I'm a number 7. Thanks!
