Description:
The prototype dovetail milling algorithm and case study presented in this report utilises the capability and flexibility of parametric software’s to dynamically generate KRL code for six-axis robotic fabrication of bespoke woodworking joints. By combining modern technologies of automation/fabrication with the structural advantages of traditional jointing techniques, this process seeks to demonstrate an efficient and economical methodology to mass-customisable articulation, accessible to designers and craftsmen alike.
