Sunday will be the last night to see the Flagstaff Star illuminated in Boulder.

Lighting the Flagstaff Star is a holiday tradition that began in 1947. The Boulder Chamber chose to light it for a few months at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic to offer hope to the community.

The area around the star on Flagstaff Mountain is owned and operated by Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks.
