Two men were rescued at Pleasure Beach in Bridgeport on Sunday after their canoe capsized, according to police.

City police and fire units were dispatched to Pleasure Beach at around 10:47 a.m., where they found two men holding onto the pilings of the old Pleasure Beach Bridge.

The men were rescued and told police that they had been fishing when the wake of a passing power boat tipped over their canoe.

Neither man was seriously injured.
