Weld County government leaders will meet with representatives from the county’s 32 different municipalities during an annual meeting Wednesday.

The “Town and County” meeting is held every October and, according to a release from the Weld County Board of Commissioners, “provides an opportunity for municipal elected officials to come together with the board of county commissioners to discuss any concerns they (may) have as well as share any good news regarding town projects or achievements.”

The Weld County home rule charter requires that commissioners meet with municipal leaders at least three times per year in order to ensure communication.

Wednesday’s meeting is free and open to the public. It will start at 7:00 p.m. at the Weld County Administration Building, 1150 O St. in Greeley.
