An Oregon truck driver is behind bars after authorities say he was hauling nearly 200 pounds of marijuana in his tractor-trailer on an Alabama interstate.
The discovery, and subsequent arrest, was made Tuesday when an Alabama state trooper assigned to ALEA’s Motor Carrier Safety Unit conducted a commercial motor vehicle inspection on Interstate 20 in St. Clair County.
