2 killed in Waterford crash Saturday – Hartford Courant

Two people were killed and another person was injured in a crash in Waterford early Saturday.

Police responded about 5:28 a.m. to a one car-crash near Cross Road and Foster Road and found a red Subaru legacy resting on a stonewall, according to the Waterford Police Department.

Three people were rushed to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital where two passengers were pronounced dead and the driver was treated for injuries that weren’t believed to be life-threatening, police said.

The names of the people involved in the crash had not yet been released, pending notification of their families. The crash was still under investigation.
