Easy Weeknight Freezer Meals
It’s Back To School time! I’ve loved seeing everyone’s first day of school pictures on Facebook and Instagram. Since everyone will be crazy busy with activities and homework, I thought it would be a good time to share my favorite freezer meals.
I’ve collected 25 of my favorites, including casseroles, soups, and pasta recipes. I have several of these recipes in my freezer right now. I LOVE pulling out a freezer meal and not having to cook dinner on a hectic weeknight!
Freezer Meal Tips
- To freeze soup, let the soup cool completely. Portion the soup into freezer bags or plastic containers.
- You can reheat the soup on the stove or in the microwave.
- If the reheated soup is too thick, add some broth or water until it reaches the desired consistency.
- To freeze casseroles- cover the casserole dishes with plastic wrap and aluminum foil.
- Write the baking instructions on the foil so you don’t have to find the recipe again later.
- All of the casseroles can be frozen unbaked or baked.
- To bake the casserole after freezing, thaw completely and bake as directed.
- To reheat the casserole after freezing, thaw as much as possible. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake at 350ºF for 30 to 45 minutes, until warm.
