How to Grill Meats without a Grill
I know some of you don’t own a grill. So here are a few tips on cooking meats inside on the stove and oven.
To cook chicken and pork chops inside, pan-sear it in a skillet on both sides for about 3 or 4 minutes and then transfer it to the oven and bake for 10 minutes at 400ºF. The internal temperature for the chicken needs to be 165ºF and 145ºF for pork chops.
For steaks, check out our guide for cooking steaks in the cast iron skillet: https://www.plainchicken.com/steakhouse-filets/
Burgers are also great in the cast iron skillet: https://www.plainchicken.com/cast-iron-skillet-burgers/
