The 2024 NFL Draft is still a year away, but it’s never too early to start looking ahead at who could be the No. 1 overall pick. History has shown that quarterbacks are typically the first players off the board, and this trend is expected to continue in 2024.
According to the latest odds from DraftKings, USC quarterback Caleb Williams and UNC quarterback Drake Maye are the frontrunners to be the No. 1 overall pick in 2024.
There are a two Georgia players who have odds mentioned on DraftKings: Georgia tight end Brock Bowers and his teammate, cornerback Javon Bullard. Of course it’s highly unlikely for either to be taken No. 1 overall, but don’t be surprised to see Bowers go as high as the top-five.
A lot will change between now and then. Injuries, poor play, and off-the-field issues will all impact a player’s draft stock. Additionally, there are always a few players who come out of nowhere to become top prospects.
