The Hawai’i County Department of Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Hawai’i Futsal and the WeGo Foundation, will host the 2023 Hawai’i International Futsal Cup.
Futsal is a soccer-based game played mainly indoors on a hard court like a basketball court, and smaller than a soccer field. It is faster paced and more intense than regular soccer.
The event will be held July 27 to 29 at the Spencer “Kalani” Schutte District Park, at 67-1315 Ala ʻŌhiʻa Road in Waimea.
There are 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U boys and girls team divisions, and men’s and women’s open divisions, with four to six teams per division.
The entry fee for non-Hawai’i Island teams is $350 per team. This event is free for spectators. The deadline for team registration is June 30.
Team registration packets are available online at: https://www.parks.hawaiicounty.gov/facilities-parks/recreation.
