Hawaii Business Magazine will feature local Influential Women in its October 2023 issue. We’re looking for women whose leadership and accomplishments have supported Hawai‘i and its people for many years.

Their impact could have been made through their professional or volunteer work. We plan to feature a diversity of women who work at for-profit companies, nonprofits or government agencies. However, we will not consider elected officials.

Women in Hawai‘i have long held significant political, community and familial power, and Hawaii Business Magazine has been writing about them since we were founded in 1955 by Ethel and Joe Murphy. In the past two years, our profiles of influential women leaders have appeared in the October Wahine Issue. In 2021, we profiled nine women in tech and last year we profiled five women in real estate development. This year we plan to honor women across various fields.

Please use the form below to submit your nominations by July 14. We are not accepting self-nominations.
