The rising senior defensive end is the No. 190 player in the class of 2024 and the No. 13 edge rusher. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Wharton star continues adding to his frame. Pickett Jr. is considered the No. 27 player in Florida.
The Wharton defensive end consistently works his way into the opposing backfield. Pickett Jr. has a great speed rush and a nifty spin move. The four-star is lightning quick off the snap and is a quarterback-sacking machine. Pickett Jr. is very productive at the high school level.

The four-star pass rusher recently visited Florida State in June. The Seminoles have the No. 6 class of 2024, per 247Sports. Florida State does not have nay commitments from edge rushers in the 2024 recruiting cycle.

Pickett visited Miami in the winter of 2024. The Hurricanes have the No. 17 class of 2024. The Hurricanes have one commitment from edge rusher Marquise Lightfoot in the class of 2024.

The talented pass rushed checked out Ohio State in April. Ohio State has the second-ranked class of 2024 in the country. However, the Buckeyes are lacking a commitment from an edge rusher in the 2024 cycle.

The elite pass rusher received an official scholarship offer from South Carolina on Aug. 1, 2023. South Carolina currently has 15 commitments in the class of 2024 and the No. 16 recruiting class in the nation.
