Boulder to replace Baseline Road traffic signal poles starting Tuesd…

Boulder will replace traffic signal poles at two intersections on Baseline Road starting Tuesday.

The intersections at Baseline Road and 17th Street and Baseline Road and 20th Street will function as four-way stops while they undergo the replacement. The project is anticipated to take two weeks.

Boulder strongly advises commuters take alternate routes to avoid delays on Baseline Road and 17th and 20th streets.

In addition to temporary four-way stops, other impacts include partial lane closures, sidewalk impacts at intersections and noise due to construction equipment.

Noise impacts are limited to daytime hours between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
