Five-star prospect and the No. 1 rated recruit in the 2024 recruiting class, Dylan Raiola, helped keep Buford High School perfect on Friday night versus Mallard Creek High School (Charlotte, North Carolina).

Mallard Creek is one of the top high school football programs in North Carolina and proved to be stout competition for Buford.

Raiola transferred from Pinnacle High School to Buford this offseason after Arizona transfer rules were expected to hold Raiola out for multiple games.

Raiola’s Wolves were down 7-0 on Friday night when he connected with Florida State five-star commit K.J. Bolden on a 41-yard score.

Buford squeaked out a 10-7 win to move to 2-0 on the season. The Wolves have wins over Mallard Creek and St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, Maryland).

The Wolves will travel to Kennesaw, Georgia next to play North Cobb High School on Sept. 1.
