The tough scheduling doesn’t stop for Alabama Basketball — even in the preseason. 

On Tuesday, the team announced a charity exhibition with Steve Forbes’ Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The matchup will take place at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston Salem, N.C at 12 p.m. CT. All proceeds from the contest will support stroke research at the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Stroke Center. Admission to the game will be free, with a suggested voluntary donation of $20 accepted at entry.

Last season, the Deacons finished with a 19-13 (10-10 ACC) record and missed the NCAA Tournament. While they lost their leading scorer in 2023 ACC Player of the Year Tyree Appleby, Wake will be returning three of their top four scorers from last season in guard Cameron Hildreth 10.7 ppg), forward Damari Monsanto (13.2 ppg), and forward Andrew Carr (10.7 ppg).
