Pumpkin Pie Days comes to Boulder County Fairgrounds this weekend – …

The Pumpkin Pie Days vintage and antique market returns this weekend for its 53rd year of celebrating the fall season and raising money for the St. Vrain Historical Society.

Held at the Boulder County Fairgrounds, 9595 Nelson Road, the market will provide guests with slices of pumpkin pie served by volunteers and antique items from over 80 vendors. Doors will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

This year’s Pumpkin Pie Days is sponsored by Longmont-based restaurant Georgia Boys BBQ. Georgia Boys will be at the Fairgrounds both days with free samples of barbeque sauces and smoked hot links.

A majority of proceeds from the event will go toward restoring the Affolter Cabin at Old Mill Park in Longmont. The cabin is a historical structure in Boulder County and serves as an educational site for St. Vrain Valley School District third graders, who visit it during the annual “Pioneer Days” event put on by SVHS.
