GAME STORY LINES

  • The Rainbow Warriors were picked third in the Big West preseason coaches poll, while Fullerton was picked sixth.
  • UH looks to snap a four-game series slide versus the Titans.
  • CSF swept last year’s regular-season and has knocked UH out of the Big West Tournament in each of the last two years.
  • In the last three meetings, two have gone into overtime and one was decided by a single point in regulation.
  • CSF hosts Long Beach State on Thursday in its Big West opener before heading out to Hawai’i.
  • UH is coming off back-to-back losses to Georgia Tech and TCU in the Diamond Head Classic. It’s the first time this year, UH has lost two straight games.

  • Senior Noel Coleman is six points from 1000 in his UH career. Just 16 others have hit the milestone, the last being Christian Standhardinger in 2014. Coleman hit 1000 career points for his overall collegiate career (UH and San Diego) earlier this month versus Hawai’i Pacific.
  • The ‘Bows are 7-4 all-time in Big West openers and 9-2 in their first BW home game of the year.
