Bill O’Brien is on the move again.

He spent two seasons (2021-22) at the University of Alabama as its offensive coordinator, helping Bryce Young capture a Heisman Memorial Trophy and coaching the offense to a Southeastern Conference Championship in 2021. O’Brien left the Crimson Tide to be reunited with Bill Belichick in the National Football League with the New England Patriots.

He spent one year in New England (2023) and was recently hired to be an offensive coordinator for Ohio State University.

It looks like the 54-year-old was only with the Buckeyes for a cup of coffee. He was hired on Jan. 19, but multiple reports state O’Brien is nearing a deal with Boston College to its next head coach.
