MILLTOWN, DELAWARE (4/15/2019) A pedestrian was taken to Christiana Hospital after she was struck by a car on Kirkwood Highway on Sunday night, according to reports from the scene.
The collision happened about 10 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 3700 block. The highway also is known as Route 2.
CPR was in progress on the victim.
The car remained at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by Delaware State Police.
