A 10-year-old girl was injured after she was struck by a vehicle while biking through a crosswalk in Boulder this morning.
Boulder police spokeswoman Shannon Aulabaugh said the girl was properly crossing Lehigh Street just north of Darley Street at 8:20 a.m. today when she was hit by a vehicle going south on Lehigh Street.
The girl was taken to Boulder Community Health’s Foothills Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Aulabaugh said the driver of the vehicle, David Ciarlo, 51, was ticketed with failure to yield to a pedestrian.
