BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – According to Feeding Alabama, about one in five children in the state experiences hunger. In honor of September being Hunger Action Month, Feeding Alabama is on a mission to give out 500 Pediatric Nutrition Education Kits to doctors across the state. So far, about half of them are distributed.
