Former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Mack Hollins drew attention Sunday with a dramatic entrance to Super Bowl 60 — but the unique outfit choice was nothing new for him.
Hollins, who joined the New England Patriots this season as his fifth team in five years, arrived in a prison outfit with some eccentric twists as he walked to the locker room at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
The 32-year-old’s red prison jumpsuit appeared to read “Range 13.” He also opted to also wear a Hannibal Lecter-esque mask, handcuffs on his wrists and shackles on his ankles as he walked barefoot.

In his bound hands, Hollins carried Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel’s high school jersey with the name “Warriors” on the front.
In addition to paying homage to Vrabel, who was named NFL Coach of the Year on Thursday, the jersey is also likely a reference to the 1979 film “The Warriors.”
The Patriots watched clips of the cult movie this season to ingrain a “road warrior” mentality. It’s not his first nod to the movie this season.
In a real-life application of the warrior mentality, Hollins reportedly suffered a lacerated spleen that landed him on injured reserve. He was out for four games.
He also dressed as Luther, the villain of the movie played by actor David Patrick Kelly, while clinking beer bottles together on his fingers for an arrival last month.
Hollins has made headlines for his outfits and bare feet for years.
In 2023, he said choosing not to wear shoes was part of a “holistic grounding” method he learned in Australia that also helps with the flexibility of his feet.

Hollins, who won a Super Bowl during his rookie year with the Eagles, even went barefoot in the snow last season when he played for the Buffalo Bills. He wore sunglasses, a straw hat, swim trunks and a floral shirt while carrying a beach towel and a mini-football, many of those items featuring Bills logos.
It was one of his many odd outfits last season, which also saw him wear a construction worker uniform, a mad scientist costume, a furry jacket with a buffalo head and a flintstones dress — all of which he paired with barefeet.
He has also opted to make more serious statements with his clothing in the past. Last year, Hollins worse a suicide-prevention shirt with “988” — the national hotline — on the front, and the words “you are worth it” on the back.
In another unique move, Hollins brought a chess board for reporters to play against him as they asked questions during three days of Super Bowl media availability.
Hollins was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles, then cut and picked up by the Miami Dolphins in 2019 before landing in Las Vegas.
After signing with the Raiders in 2022, he set career-high marks in receiving yards (690), receptions (57) and touchdowns (four).
