The early season cold-snap that moved through Boulder on Thursday set a record low overnight when temperatures dropped down into the teens.
Local meteorologist Matt Kelsch said the overnight low in Boulder was 15, easily breaking the previous record for Oct. 11 of 20 set in 1977.

Because days end at 5 p.m. for weather record purposes, the overnight low temperature was catalogued for Oct. 11 rather than Oct. 10.
