Amtrak construction leads to temporary closing of Churchmans Crossing stop

Due to Amtrak construction work, SEPTA commuter trains will not stop at the Churchmans Crossing Station in either direction until mid-August. The Amtrak work schedule is subject to change.

All other SEPTA stations in Delaware will have train service.

Commuters heading towards Center City Philadelphia can board trains at Newark Carper Station, Wilmington Biden Station or Claymont Station. Free parking is available at the new Newark and Claymont stations. Pay-to-park facilities are available near the Wilmington Station, SEPTA noted.

Commuters traveling toward Churchmans Crossing Station can travel to the Newark Station, where a revised DART Bus Route 62 provides service to destinations in the Churchmans Crossing Station area. DART Bus Routes 10 and 33 also serve the Newark Station.

Further information is offered on the  DART website.

SEPTA service into Delaware is subsidized by the State of Delaware.
