Boulder police accepting applications for Community Police Academy
Each year the Boulder Police Department offers a free, 13-week Community Police Academy to promote cooperation, education and understanding of police operations.
The academy will be held from Sept. 4 to Dec. 4 with a break over Thanksgiving. All sessions will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Participants must be at least 18 years old, live or work in the City of Boulder and agree to a background check. Class size limited to 20 participants.
Applications are available at Boulder Police Headquarters; located at 1805 33rd St. Applications are also posted on the department’s website at https://bouldercolorado.gov/police/community-police-academy
