The Helping Hands Tribe, a coalition of wellness practitioners, on Saturday will offer 20-minute sessions for clothed massage, acupuncture, reiki, cranial sacral, meditation and intuitive energy work, in exchange for a donation to support the reunification of border children with their families via Together Rising.
“As more and more outrageous news scrolled by on Facebook about border children being taken from their parents, being lost, being abused, I became dissatisfied with just hitting the like and emoji buttons,” Aprylisa Snyder, the events organizer said. “We are volunteering to serve, nurture and heal community members while helping border families. This is Love in Action.””
The event will be from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Saturday at Nevei Kodesh 1925 Glenwood Drive in Boulder.
