BVSD Community Leadership Academy registration open – Boulder Daily …

The Boulder Valley School District is hosting a Community Leadership Academy, in partnership with the Parent Engagement Network, for the second year.

The program is an opportunity for parents and community members to deepen their understanding of the school district. One goal is to give parents the information they need to play a more active role in their child’s education and the district.

Participants will attend seven lunch-time sessions between March and May that will include  district overview and deeper dives into the district’s academics and operations, as well as sessions on building resilient families and communities.

All sessions will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the BVSD Education Center, at 6500 Arapahoe Road in Boulder. Sessions are scheduled Oct. 13, Nov. 9, Dec. 15, Jan. 19, Febr. 23, March 15 and April 12. Spanish interpretation will be available.
