BVU baseball home opener moves to Indianola

Due to forecasted cold temperatures and chances of rain and snow throughout this weekend in northwest Iowa, the upcoming three-game weekend series between Buena Vista (11-4) and Simpson (7-7) has been shifted from Storm Lake to Indianola.

As it was a scheduled home series for the Beavers, they will remain the home team for all three games. The two teams will play a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. today and play the single nine-inning game on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The series will be the American Rivers Conference opener for both teams.
