Cloudy and cool with a few showers for on this Mother’s Day. NOT a washout though!

Happy Mother’s Day!!

The Northern Lights were out there last night but the clouds made it near impossible to view them unfortunately. That said, there is still a chance to somewhat see them overnight tonight!

For today, Mother’s Day, expect cloudy skies and cool conditions along with some spotty showers/sprinkles with most of the time drier. Temperatures will be in the 50s to near 60 degrees. Normal highs for this time of year should be 70 degrees… Could be better, could be worse. Outdoor plans can still occur for most but dress for a cool day.

Brighter and a bit warmer Monday with highs in the 60s to around 70. A Stray PM showers is possible both Monday and Tuesday afternoon. The mid-week period will feature some rain and showers with conditions.

Still a good deal of uncertainty with the late week/weekend forecast. Some guidance paints a very rainy picture for Friday into Saturday while others have it many dry with some rain by Sunday. Check back through the week as the weather team, sorts this timeframe out.

Mother’s Day/Today: Mostly cloudy and cool. A few scattered showers/sprinkles. Highs in the mid-upper 50s. Highs should about 70 degrees this time of year!

Tonight: NORTHERN LIGHTS Again? Yes, but the clouds could spoil the fun, like last night. There is a better chance compared to last night though!… Lows in the mid-40s.

Monday: Partly cloudy, more seasonable. Highs in the mid and upper 60s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with rain showers arriving by later afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s to near 70. Rain Tuesday night.

Wednesday: Rain at times. Highs in the low-mid 60s.

Thursday: Brighter and drier with mostly sunny conditions. Highs near 70 degrees.

Friday: Scattered clouds,, rain possible with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.
