Ocean’s Eleven Casino and the Card Player Poker Tour have now teamed up for nine runnings of the San Diego Classic tournament. Over the course of those events, more than 7,300 entries have been made and $1,950,000 in prize money has been awarded. The third and final CPPT Ocean’s Eleven San Diego Classic of 2019 is set to take place from July 18 – 21 in stunning Oceanside, California.

The $250 buy-in tournament has six starting flights to choose from, with two per day for the first three days of the event. Players can choose from the morning flight at 10:00 a.m., the evening flight starting at 6:00 p.m, or even play both flights each day! Players will also be able to take advantage of the popular Quantum Tournament structure of this event and buy in on Day 2 for $1,500. Those who exercise this option will receive 170,000 in tournament chips. With a $30 optional staff add-on, players will also receive 30,000 additional chips, with the blinds starting at 1,000-2,000 for the beginning of day 2.

2019 CPPT Ocean's Eleven San Diego Classic Champion Adam WeinraubOrange, California resident Adam Weinraub outlasted a field of 728 total entries to win the April running of the 2019 CPPT Ocean’s Eleven San Diego Classic. The 2007 World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational champion earned $32,212 for taking down this event, bringing his career live tournament earnings to $730,877.

Weinraub was one of the 51 direct entries into day 2 of this event made for $1,500. The day 2 players joined the 677 entries made over the six starting flights to build a final prize pool of $201,700, which was awarded to the top 98 finishers. A number of big names made it to the final table in this event, including 2014 WPT Legends of Poker main event runner-up finisher Mike Eskandari. He went on to finish sixth for $7,320. Bicycle Casino Tournament Director Mo Fathipour, who pioneered the Quantum Tournament format that this tournament utilizes, finished fifth for $9,500.
