CT woman charged with DUI after running red light, striking vehicle

Two people were injured in a crash caused by an alleged drunk driver in South Windsor on Monday, police said.

Officers responded to the intersection of Ellington Road and Chapel Road in the evening hours on the report of a motor vehicle crash and learned that 25-year-old Amanda M. Staron of Portland ran a red light and hit another motorist, according to the South Windsor Police…
