Former Georgia Bulldog David Pollack is not working with ESPN’s College GameDay this year. A lot of Georgia fans aren’t happy about it.
Pollack is still dishing out good takes on college football. He joined Aaron Murray of The Players’ Lounge to discuss Georgia football along with Rennie Curran and Brandon Boykin. The four former Georgia players all heavily discussed the Georgia defense.
Georgia’s defense is a big reason why the Bulldogs have won back-to-back national championships. Georgia is looking to win a third straight national championship with new starting quarterback Carson Beck.

Pollack highlights weakness he is seeing on Georgia’s defense
The former standout Georgia defensive end notes that he has seen some struggled on the edge.
Worst edge play I’ve seen in at least a couple years for Georgia.
Georgia did have the No. 1 pick in the 2022 NFL draft in Travon Walker and other top edge rushers like Nolan Smith in recent years. However, last week the Dawgs did not live up to the standard on the edge against UT Martin, when Georgia allowed 134 rushing yards.
Rennie Curran’s prediction
Curran’s Prediction: Georgia 45, Ball State 7
Curran does not think that Georgia will cover and is taking the under.
Brandon Boykin’s prediction
Boykin’s Prediction: Georgia 65, Ball State 0
Boykin thinks Georgia is going to make a statement and shutout Ball State. Georgia rarely plays two bad games in a row. Boykin thinks the game will hit the over and Georgia will cover.
